We stayed for several days to attend a wedding that was held at the resort and from the moment we arrived we had several unpleasant surprises. First of all, we booked several rooms for several family members, several months in advance, and when we arrived, the rooms they gave us were different from what we had requested and they told us that they no longer had rooms available like the ones we had requested, and that if we wanted better rooms, we had to pay extra for each day we stayed at the hotel. The rooms we ended up being given were far from what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. I found and killed 2 COCKROACHES IN MY BED, and we watched as another one was killed in the main dining room. The pools had no lights and therefore they had to close them early, removing the people who were still swimming. The only reason we decided not to give it the lowest rating is because (with the exception of the receptionists), all the hotel staff were always extremely friendly and helpful.

We visited grand Palladium and the visit was just ordinary wasn’t blown away. They had several chances to make the visit better. I even tipped the people stating they were gonna help make our trip amazing and empty promises.

Julio in Hemingway bar was amazing every night we visited. Esteban, Linda, and Antonio were wonderful in the Mexican restaurant. Othan- in Bamboo Alfonso, Vicky and Oscar at the quiet pool were gems. Was a wonderful week. Enjoyed seeing the whales while enjoying the infinity adult pool

Awesome all inclusive resort!! Beautiful views, rainforest vibe!! Delicious food, good entertainment, nice pools, private beach access, a few steps away!! Beware it is hard to get around for someone with knee problems or wheel chairs, many stairs or inclined areas. We had a few falls from those in our group.
